Ohio State X Ray License
Radiologic licenses are issued for the following categories: Radiographer, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Radiation Therapist and General X-ray Machine Operator (GXMO). The Radiologic Licensure program ensures standards of knowledge and skill for operators who apply radiation to humans for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. CE per license: Radiography - 12 hours Nuclear Medicine - 12 hours Radiation Therapy - 12 hours Limited - 12 hours. ODH accepts courses already approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technology (ASRT) and Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM). ODH also accepts a current ARRT or NMTCB certification card as proof of meeting Ohio's CE requirements. For states that do not license medical imaging or radiation therapy personnel, you can refer to the state's radiation control program for information on radiation emitting equipment standards.
